Announcement Ref. No.: SQASI/CMCS/1/22/0013 REQUIREMENT FOR CERTIFICATION OF 5G USER EQUIPMENT THAT

Dear Valued Customer,

In line with the requirement stipulated in 5G Technical Code MCMC MTSFB TC T016:2021 published on 24th August 2021, kindly be reminded that any 5G user equipment (UE) that supports Voice over New Radio (VoNR)/ Voice over 5G (Vo5G) (either abled or disabled) shall comply to the requirements stated in 3GPP TS 34.229-5.

On the other hand, for 5G UE that can make voice calls but does not support the VoNR/ Vo5G feature, applicant is required to fill out and submit an official declaration letter, which can be found in the attachment below.
